My mom watched the show ever since it first started, and three years ago started watching the occasional episode with her…and then I started watching it ironically…and now I can’t tear myself away from the show with the worst writing in television
Well, considering how the characters’ personalities change on a biweekly basis in Bold-verse, it’s hard to consistently like any couple on that show.
Except Bill/Steffy. They’re the OTP.
I also like, Stephanie/Eric, Aly/Oliver (for now, until their personalities change), Hope/Liam (but only because Steffy’s out of the picture right now) and of course
the OTP #2
Hmmm, I don’t know! I checked YouTube quickly but I couldn’t find anything. I know that both CBS (USA) and CTV’s (Canada) websites have full episodes of the show, so if you knew which episodes those scenes were from, you could re-watch the episode (and skip to that part). Hopefully that helps a bit!
So, my co-admin linked me to this wonderful page which, under the “Storylines” heading, describes pretty much every shenanigan the late and great Stephanie Forrester got up to in her 25 years on the show.
Here’s a list of some of my favourites:
“Stephanie had the Forrester lab rigged with cameras, which caught Ridge and Brooke making love.”
“Sally found a video of Eric and Lauren in bed and planted a still from it in the minister’s Bible at Eric and Stephanie’s wedding. Stephanie responded by shoving Lauren into the mud, and later into a pool. Stephanie got even with Sally by pushing her into Lake Como in Italy.”
“Stephanie paid off a doctor and faked a heart attack to manipulate Ridge into returning to Taylor.”
“When it came out that Eric had known about [Stephanie being the true owner of Forrester Creations] for decades, Stephanie kneed Eric in the groin, fired him, and installed Thorne as president.”
“Stephanie [gave] Brooke a gift-wrapped gun with which to shoot herself. Instead, Brooke fired at Stephanie, but missed.”
“When a furious Taylor accused Stephanie of having incestuous feelings toward Ridge, Stephanie slapped Taylor.”
“Stephanie got into an argument with Jackie that ended with Jackie falling over a railing. To avenge his mother, Nick held Stephanie over the same railing, but Stephanie got hold of a gun and fired just above Nick’s head as a warning.”
“Stephanie choked Brooke with a phone cord and held Brooke at Big Bear with a shotgun to keep Brooke from calling the police before she finally relented.”
“Brooke’s father, Stephen Logan, almost threw Stephanie off a hotel balcony trying to avenge Brooke.”
“Stephen put a gun in Pam’s hand and pushed for Pam to shoot Stephanie, but Stephanie got the gun away from Pam and shot Stephen instead.”
As beautiful as her final scenes were, I can’t help but feel a little ripped off that Brooke was the only one present when Stephanie passed after so many years of their antagonising each other.
I must also admit that, after reading this article, I miss the drama. All this romance and angst is getting kind of old, kind of fast; someone needs to shoot someone sometime soon.
Also, Sheila was a total psycho – to which my mum can happily confirm.
